NO LIFE GROUPS THIS WEDNESDAY (11/26) OR STUDENT SERVICES THIS WEEKEND! (11/30)

Just a reminder that due to Thanksgiving, we will not be having Life Groups this Wednesday (Nov. 26th) or Student Ministry Services this Sunday (Nov. 30th). Please enjoy the main service as a family (with your student) this Sunday in the Main Auditorium, and eat a whole lot of turkey on Thursday! The INVERTED LIFE requires a REBELLION to the ordinary.
We need to EXPECT that the world around us will not ACCEPT our allegiance to Jesus.
Jesus doesn't want us to AGREE with Him, He wants us to ACT on what He says.
Rather than WAIT for someone else to act, we must take the INITIATIVE to bring the change God desires.
Because God is MOVING, if we stand still, the distance between us and Him INCREASES.

Summer Camp - I know right?

Check out this video for Summer Camp! The cost is only $499 per person until February 1st, 2009! That includes everything, 5 days in Branson, MO in a sweet hotel, a trip to Silver Dollar City, charter bus ride, t-shirt and three shows/concerts! You will not want to miss out on Kristian Stanfill, Francis Chan, Leeland and the David Crowder Band, who will all be at camp this year! Last weekend, we learned how we can get in the game and participate in the cause of Christ rather than just be spectators. This coming weekend is one that you do not want your student to miss! We are finishing out our INVERTED series, and we will be turning in our commitment cards with the whole church as we sacrifice together to advance God's presence in our community!

This weekend, have your student come prepared to fill out a commitment card to tell the church how you will get in the game and be a part of the WHYi Campaign. Let's live this INVERTED life together and show the church and the community that students don't just focus on themselves but will sacrifice so that others can be reached!
