We Made It!

Hello Parents!
If you are checking this blog for SNOWFEST 2009 updates, we want to let you know that we made it safely to the hotel. Due to the snowstorm, we made it a little later that we expected, but we arrived at 9:30p and got all the kids checked in. By now, most of them are having fun at the pool or making new friends in their rooms. It's already been a great trip and we are so glad that your student is with us!!

Look for more information as the weekend progresses. Also check here Sunday afternoon and evening to see updates as to our travel and estimated arrival time. If you do not see anything saying otherwise, our expected arrival time back at Point of Grace will be 9:00 pm.

Also, I wanted to extend an apology to you. We want you to know that we value your trust in us very highly and want you to know that our goal is to provide a very fun, as well as safe and wholesome environment for your student during all of our events. Unfortunately, tonight on the bus ride up, we were watching movies, and after High School Musical 3, we began Hancock. I did not remember that Hancock had a scene where the F-word was said, and so that scene was accidentally aired tonight in the bus. As soon as it happened, we ended the movie and changed it to Wall-E, but regrettably the word was already played. We know that for some of your students, they have already seen movies with that word in it, or may have even said it themselves, but I wanted to let you know that this occurrence did happen, and I wanted you to hear it from me first. This mistake was completely my fault, but I know that it reflects poorly on the entire Student Ministry team, and for that I take total responsibility and feel deeply sorry.
